When I got this book I thought it would be sort of like a dictionary telling you just a little bit like the job, but it wasn't. It was better! Cool careers for girls with animals told you about how it is being that job and the responsibilitys of it too!

This is a great book! I've always wanted to work with animals and I wanted to explore some of the options. This book really helped show me what is out there! It showed how many different careers with animals there really are!

This book gives a wide ranging discussion of animal careers for girls, and included many that my daughter had never thought of. We searched for this book to give her an idea of the overall requirements for becoming a veterinarian, but she has since seen how many more areas she can look forward to exploring. Great book, well written, the first hand accounts of women and older girls in these careers really makes it a speacial read.

This book has some great information on different careers that girls (or boys) might be interested in. It provides details on people who do those jobs and what they had to do to be able to do them. My daughter is 7 and I think for this age it gives them something to help them imagine what it might be like to do certain jobs. It also has some depth, talking about why it might be difficult to do a certain job, or traits you might need, or the difficulty in getting into school, or getting experience doing a job. Overall a fun read with a hint of motivation!
