The latest entry in the series, Cool Careers For Girls In Construction tells what it's like today for women in all types of construction careers, with special emphasis on nontraditional careers for women. Upbeat and informative, Ceel Pasternak and Linda Thornburg provide answers to such important questions as: What jobs do women find meaningful?, What do women succeed at today?, How did they prepare for these jobs?, How did the find them?, What are their lives like. Cool Careers For Girls In Construction profiles eleven women who love their work in food. Girls will find excellent role models and sound advice on how to get more information about he careers that interest them. Also profiled are women in landscape architecture, electricians, heavy equipment operators, and more. Other features include a personal checklist for each job, lists of books to read and videos to see, salary information, and supportive organizations to contact for scholarships, mentoring, or apprenticeship and intern programs. Other titles in this outstanding series are dedicated to occupational areas in computers, animal husbandry, engineering, food, health, and sports.

The featured architect was particularly interesting and inspiring. I highly recommend this book!!!!
