"Cool it, Carrie," think Alex and Sky. Carrie's going crazy because Jordan entered her story for a big writing competition. She swears she'll never forgive him- but win or lose, there's no way out now!

By whit3b (New York, USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Cool It, Carrie (Making Friends) (Paperback)
I read the book Cool it, Carrie by Kate Andrews. It is a book about a group of 8th graders that have many of the same everyday problems as you and me. YOU see, there is this girl named Carrie, she writes these great shorts stories, but doesn't like to share then with people. Then, one day Carrie showed her friends one of her stories at lunch and everyone loved it. Carrie's friend Jordan got a hold of the story and saw a sign for a short story contest. Jordan thought it would be a good idea to enter the contest because it was so good. The rest of the book is about the effects of Jordan entering Carrie's story in the contest. I love how this series of books is about kids my age and their everyday problems that, I too face. I would recommend this book to pre-teen girls. I hope you enjoy this book as much as I did.

Carrie gets upset because Jordon, her friend, entered her story into a contest. She didn't want anyone to know about the story. She doesn't know weither to be mad or gald(she might win). That is the decision carrie has to make in cool it, carrie.
