As an ESL teacher I have found this book to be a great companion for me teaching new English words to my Chinese students. Learning new English words for Chinese students is not as easy as we think. They have their special ways to memorize difficult words. This is an excellent book to help students learn often difficult English words by showing them how the different syllable of words can be memorized by their easy Mandarin interpretations . The author has taken a great time to find the best Mandarin words to describe and explain the English words. I don't know myself Mandarin but my teenage students have greatly praised this book along the English definitions of the new words.
