Whether you like SOAD or not, anyone can appreciate this poetry book for its face value. He does a good job at protraying our modern society the way he sees it, and it's damn real... If you like saul williams' "said the shotgun to the head," you should pick this up

I first found out about this wonderful book from System of a Down's Site. I then went to serj's site and read some of the saple poems. His poetry really is imaginative and makes you think about things. Some of the better poetry I've read in a while.

This book is phenomenal! Serj Tankian is an excellent poet with a brilliant mind. Any true fan of System of a Down would love this work. The poems are funny, satirical, political, sexual, and just plain amazing. His ability to turn language into art is second to none. I highly recommend it!

This is the only book I have ever read cover to cover in my life! The book is absolutely great and you must buy it. The book contained a lot of sexual poems, which the poem's were good I just wasn't expecting it. If you don't buy the book for it's poetry, then you must for the artwork. The art is all origional and breath taking, it's just an amazing book of poems. HIGHLY, HIGHLY, RECOMENDED!!!

System of a Down are amazing and have amazing lyrics that is reflected in this book. Both his Armenian and American sides are shown check out (...) for the official site were there is sample poems if you want to find out more!!!

I first heard about this release at the site www.theprp.com (a music (metal) news site) and I instantly checked it out. And I loved it! It was absolutely amazing. Tankian's statements make you think. And I feel if you are a lover of good poetry, you NEED to check this out.

Although my book doesn't have that cover, I know they are the same book. "Cool Gardens" is a great book. It's also very funny too. You can see some of System of a Down's lyrics in some of the poems. I would recommend this book to any SOAD lovers or people who think Serj Tankian is a great writer.

This is a must have for lovers of poetry and SOAD alike this book speaks the truth and doesn't hold anything back Serj is a genius and this book proves it

I ordered this book for a college poetry class. When I got it it had been written on on the edges with permanent marker and the back cover had a sticker that was impossible to remove without damaging the cover.

Do NOT order this from Amazon, they do not give books the respect they deserve.

By all means, though, buy it. It's a fantastic book.
