About the Author

Nancy Jo King has been a professional artist and teacher for over 15 years. Her work has been featured in exhibits nationwide, including the National Association of Art Educators’ annual convention. She has a passion for children’s arts, and has been a craft designer for young adult magazines such as Smackers and All About You. King taught at the elementary level for many years, and has written, developed, and facilitated a curriculum for K-6 visual arts education. She lives in Southern California with her son and daughter.

My four year old loved making a reindeer out of a candy cane and my older daughter enjoys some of the more complex projects. The book is straight forward, with clear directions accompanied by pictures. These projects will keep your kids busy from Valentine's Day through Hannukah and Christmas!
