There are many albums on the market targeted for children alone, but there are very few that can be enjoyed by child and parent equally. This CD meets the challenge superbly. Maria's voice is polished and serene, and the muscial writing is upbeat and professionally arranged. Her lyrics are a clever and refreshing response to the usual titles in this area. You won't regret adding this album to your collection.

I can't listen to most kids' music once, much less over and over, but I have yet to tire of this one. It's one of our top 2 choices as a birthday gift (the other is Sandra Boynton's Rhinoceros Tap- also highly recommended). The musical styles are diverse and the lyrics are clever and kid friendly without being insipid or trying too hard to be hip. My kids have enjoyed this from ages 2 to 7 and they aren't tired of it yet.!

Maria Bostick is a very talented children and adult artist. Bailey, my cocker spaniel, and I spend hours listening to Bostick's recording over and over - great on the road music. If you enjoyed "Cool Jazz Cats," you'll absolutely love Bostick's first recording "There's A Dinosaur In My Bed." Bailey and I can't wait for Bostick's next recording!
