Throwback to old great grooves !!!!!!,

Doc Powell has never disappointed me with anything he has done. Whether as a sideman for the music business's glamour/pop artists or as frontman for his own projects both instrumental and gospel.
This project reminds of some older jazz grooves. Although the first tune "PUSH" was of great interest to me since Doc featured his buddy (my favorite sax man) Kirk Whalum, it is the title track which really grabbed me. Although it has similarity to Wes Montgomery tunes, Doc establishes his unique voice on this tune particularly with his scat. The first two tunes really got me. So will the rest of the CD. Sugget you buy it and check it out.

Ripped off - never received the MP3,

I did everything they asked - I successfully downloaded the MP3 downloader program but the song never downloaded. It is nowhere to be found in my "Amazon MP3" folder nor is it anywhere in my computer. But the Amazon website tries to say that I already downloaded it. Looks like I am a last time customer for Amazon MP3; I-Tunes is much much easier to use and I get the song right away every time.
