I had this bottle for over 5 years and used it countless times on long hikes through desert and mountains. Well, actually my dogs used it since I carry my own separate water supply. My dogs seem unoffended by this selfish behavior. I have two 20 pound Jack Russel/Beagle canine hiking companions and they somehow can fit their muzzles simultaneously in the drinking cup. They love this bottle, so they would probably have reservations about sharing their bottle with me anyway. I was carrying the Cool Pooch Sport Bottle on the outside of my lumbar pack when I had a little fall coming down a steep mountain trail. I had fallen on this bottle a few times before, but this time I cracked it! So I'm buying another. Caution, although these bottles may serve as flotation devices (you would need several), they are not designed to cushion a fall. They hurt! You can get this bottle at the Cool Pooch website for a little less but it looks like you won't have secure checkout there and their shipping fee is a little high. Either way, this little bottle will probably be your dog's best friend....after you, of course.

I have had the cool pooch water bottle for many years.(although I admit, I do not share the water with the dog). I carry it in a holder clipped to my waist and am only without it in the winter. It is easy to give your dog a drink while on a walk and even dogs who shy away from other bottles do not appear to be reluctant to take a drink from the "bowl" on top. Great item!

It's perfect for anytime & anywhere you take your dog (walks, car trips, visiting, etc).I also purchased the carry pouch which works well, and it also fits in my Kjen fanny pack. Bought this when my Golden Retriever was just a pup, and 9 years later it's still in great shape. When using it during break time at my dog's training classes I was supprised to see everyone staring at us with their mouths hanging open(They had been fumbling with bottles and bowls). I believe the only reason more people aren't using this product is because they don't know it's available. After tiring of water bottles and messy collapsible bowls myself, I did an internet search and that's how I discovered it. I guarantee you'll love it!

The Cool Pooch Sport Bottle is wonderful. My little dog Duchess is a 5 lb. pomeranian, I bought her bottle 14 years ago when she was a baby and only bought a new one a couple of weeks ago because I wanted to get her something new for her birthday, she will be 15 years old. The bottle is made well and goes with us everywhere. I give this bottle a 5 star.
