As an early childhood educator, I highly recommend Daddy a Go Go Cool Songs for Cool Kids. My multiage Kindergarten-first-second grade class particularly loved the"ABC Song" . . and I was able to use it to reinforce their understanding of concepts of print (the alphabet) and the sounds that go with the letters. Some "hard to reach" students often are able to grasp new concepts via their musical intelligence and there are many songs which I used in the classroom to teach and reinforce onset-rimes (the name song). Students can also write their own song using their own names. "Brush Your Teeth" and "I Can Swing By Myself " are great ways to teach responsibility and to celebrate young children's growth and development. During my masters' coursework, I introduced my colleague teachers to Daddy a Go Go and they and my professor agree, there are many, many relevant learning experiences that can be gleaned from this recording. It's great to introduce another musical genre to the early childhood classroom and celebrate the importance of Dads and positive male role models who understand kids. I can introduce contemporary music without worrying about inappropriate lyrics -- and I enjoy the music, too!

We love this album. My wife and I like it as much or more than our kids do. We would certainly recommend it to anyone who is looking for something with a real modern sound that their kids can enjoy, while maintaining very wholesome lyrics. It's hard to find clean, quality music like this these days. A real listening pleasure.

This is a great CD. My 3-year-old daughter can't help but dance when she hears it. The first time I played it, she sang the alphabet to the "Alphabet Song". It's great to find such a fabulous collection of kids' music all on one CD. We played the CD 3 times the first day we had it. Buy this one!

This very clever, very bouncy CD has captured my seven-year-old son's fancy like no other music tape or CD before. He wants to dance to it when he's up, and he asks for it as his bedtime music, too. For me, it serves as a way of introducing him to pop music. Now he will easily make the transition to the Beach Boys and Beatles, not to mention the Ventures if he decides he wants more surf-music. The original songs have catchy melodies and not-too-silly lyrics and are still enjoyable after several listens. The garage-band sensibilities of the two dads give it just the right sound and atmosphere. In all, a wonderful CD for kids who have graduated from Rafi but aren't yet ready for the Hansons. Perfect for car trips or dancing around the house using Dad's tennis racket for a guitar.

We bought this album because we wanted music that the whole family could enjoy, an does it deliver! Often with children's music the songs can get pretty boring after awhile. This CD is full of fun dance tunes and even throws in a little lesson on personal hygiene with "brush your teeth!". Our three year old has been listening and dancing to it since he was 21 months old. We know our 3 month old will love it too. We can't wait for more from these Go-Go Daddies!

Thanks to Daddy-A-GoGo for a fantastic kids oriented CD that us grown up kids love as well. My two girls, 2 and 4, can't wait to get in to car to listen to the CD. The catchy tunes are easy for little ones to learn and sing along with. This well done CD brings back to life some of our old favorites like Go Speed Racer and Scooby Do. Plus there are very kid oriented original tunes about brushing your teeth, "I can do it myself", ABC's, Diaper Daddy Blues, car pooling. The mainstays of kids life are brought to life in a wonderfully fresh way. We eagerly await more from this talented group!

This is one of only a few of our kids' cds that my husband & I don't mind hearing over & over. The kids are three & five, and, of course, want to hear the same cd again and again - this one is actually tolerable even if you've already heard it five times that day....it's also good for getting the kids moving - it's very danceable.

Wow! A kids CD that I enjoy listening to even when the kids aren't in the room. "Cool Songs..."has definitely become a favorite in our house. But you can't sit still and just listen to it; you just have to dance or clap. My son went to preschool with one of the artist's sons and is so proud to show off the CD to friends and say he knows the people shown on the cover. But, one word of advice: don't put on the CD at bedtime or your kids will never go to sleep. These songs are no lullabyes!

We agree that this CD has lots of fun lyrics, but the music itself lacks substance and variation. Our 14 month old daughter much prefers Choo Choo Boogaloo and On the Good Ship Lollipop to this one. It's not terrible music, but with all the great reviews we read, we were somewhat underwhelmed.

My kids, ages 5 & 7, really love this CD. They sing along to all of the songs.... I especially get a kick out of Scooby Doo. Great CD for kids of all ages!
