I have been looking for a big umbrella but took so long to find. This umbrella is big enough and tilt to block sun,very functional. It is great for the price! Love it!

Very nice umbrella. I was unsure about the less than 100% sun blockage, but this works nicely. I strongly recommend it.

This is the second Cooleroo we've owned. The first one we bought while living in Australia and we loved it so much we brought it over her to America. Unfortunately the crank cable broke on that one so we needed a new one. We decided to "go big" with this one (we are in America afterall). I'm glad we did. The material is ideal for summer days. It lets enough light and air through that you don't feel like you're huddling in a tent. It also doesn't want to blow away because wind gusts pass through it. Great sturdy umbrella.

Considering all the expensive patio umbrellas available, this one is excellent. The cloth looks much 'richer' than some of the more expensive ones. The stand doesnt look cheap, and seems to be quite durable. Tilting is easy. I'm happy I went for this one.

We lost two trees in our west facing backyard. This 11 foot umbrella provides shade and heat reduction just as advertised. We have it on a rolling umbrella base so that we can move it as needed when our afternoons get hot. For two years, we've used a Coolaroo 6 foot roller shade in another part of the yard. It looks stylish and is easy to clean so we knew the addition of the Coolaroo Umbrella would resolve our dilemma. The two look wonderful together. Coolaroo provides excellent quality products at a very fair price. The pole is sturdy, was easy to set up and it is easy to tilt. With an umbrella this size you need a substantial "base" for the best stability. We miss our trees, but this umbrella will be just fine as a replacement.

Just as advertised. Gives a filtered light under it. I bought a regular market umbrella initially, but with the breezes on my deck (no way could you call it windy, or I would have wound the umbrella down), a 44 pound base and a wrought iron table surrounding it could not hold it- it went flying. Because this fabric allows some breeze to pass through it, it is less apt to get airborne. The mechanism works very smoothly, and the pole is a standard size that fits my wrought iron base. It is a light beige color, which goes with my chair cushions. It is large enough to shade a table for 6, even in late afternoon when the sun is at an angle.
With the prime free shipping, I think it is a good buy. Sometimes the price seems inflated when prime shipping is offered, but not in this case.

I bought this umbrella and had to return it. The fabric is woven and therefore lets the sun still shine in. You would have to wear sunglasses while sitting under it. I liked the large size but not the material.

I purchased this umbrella about 6 weeks ago due to its metal frame and tilt positions. I opened it only twice in the last 6 weeks only to find that it will NOT ckick or lock in the upright position but will only stay in the tilted position, making it unusable at over $120.00! Unfortuately I am "out of the window" for exchange or full refund and I would have to pay for all the shipping costs! Not worth the time or effort to repackage and ship. Plus, who keeps an umbrealla box for 6 weeks? I am NOT happy.

Glad we chose the Coolaroo 11 foot umbrella! The fabric is attractive and allows light through but still blocks the heat, pretty interesting how it works. This is one sturdy umbrella, solidly made, great crank mechanism. The size makes a big difference over our previous 9 foot umbrella, shading the table and chairs, plus it tilts easily. Highly recommended!

The material type was odd to me initially when I pulled it out of the package, but once I got it fully setup, it actually provided the shade I was looking for. I also like the style of the umbrella. I struggled however to find a compatible umbrella base to pair with this. Because it is such a top heavy umbrella it really needs a slightly taller slightly wider base. I could not find a decent one on amazon or in my general online search. I have a base now, the umbrella has tipped over once, but only when I had the umbrella locked in tilt mode. Besides that one hiccup I am happy with the umbrella purchase.
