This case is pretty good for the money. Depending on your needs, you may prefer the Antec 300 for about the same money.Pros: 1. Side cooling holes for cooling mobo and videocard 2. Top cooling vents 3. Bottom-mounted PSU -- PSU can be mounted rightside or upside down. Cons: 1. HDD cage holds 4 3.5" hdds 2. Need to buy more 3.5" cages to hold more than 4 hdds 3. Lack of extra fan mounting screws. 4. No reset button Compare Antec 300 vs. CM 590: Antec is better at handling hdds: 2 hdd cages x 3 hdd ea. = 6 max. CM is 4 max because of only having 1 hdd cage. CM is better at handling 5.25" DVDs: 9 vs. 3 (Antec). Both have bottom-mounted PSU, but CM can mount PSU right/upside down. CM has 2 side vents: Antec only 1 (for videocard). CM has 2 top vents: Antec 1. Antec has reset button; CM no. Bottom-line: Get Antec for system w/ 3-6 hdds and 3 max DVDs. Get CM for system with 4 max hdds. Both are solid values. UPDATE April 2011 -- dropped it from 4 stars to 3. Rust. The fan mesh areas are showing rust; Antec 300 is just fine. (This is in humid Hawaii, mind you.) Fan noise. Case fan perforations block more air than on competing Antec 300. As a result, a 120mm fan on the CM makes much more noise than on the Antec 300. Paint finish. My Antec 300 is looking much better than CM 590 -- thinking paint job is better on Antec. Updated Conclusion -- buy the Antec 300, NOT the CM 590. BTW, I prefer the 300 over the 900 and 902, having used all of them.

Best Computer Case in the World?,

This is the second 590 and the 6th Cooler Master case that I have purchased in the last year.Cooler Master makes the best built cases, period. The 590 is the one and ONLY case to use if you plan to use water cooling. There are 9 (count them) 5.25" bays in the front of the case (all available form the outside). You use an adapter (included)to install floppy and another included adapter to install HDs. The Power Supply is at the BOTTOM of the case instead of the top. I will never go back to the supply on top. Moving the PS down, moves the MB UP. Because of the 5.25" bays at the bottom, my watercooling pump and reservoir fit at the front bottom of the case. This case is HUGE! Click here or copy into address bar to see detailed pictures of this case. This is a big case, with a lot of room in front of the motherboard (a few inches on a full size ATX board), which is important now that motherboard manufacturers have all decided it is a great idea to stick hard drive connectors on the front edge of the board. That's why I had to buy a new case in the first place rather than using one of my old cases. It is pretty well built... the fans are quiet and seem to be decent quality. The toolless connectors work better than you would think they would by looking at them. I'm happy with them and I am definitely not a fan of the toolless chassis. The removable 3.5" bay is not toolless, but has rubber grommet vibration isolators on all the screw mounting holes, which is a nice touch. The large front mounted fan blows air through the 3.5" drive bay to keep the drives cool. Plus it looks very good. All in all it is a very nice case, comparable to any $100 case. The only downside is no reset button... but I can live with that.

What finally won me over to the 590 after looking at somany reviews was the attrictive price (75$ shipping handeling and tax included)and the sturdy, roomy design. I wanted a case that could handle two 9800 GTX+ cards in sli and two+ harddrives. It does. Even better, it does this having about 3 inches of clearence between the cards and the hard drives while retaining the front 120mm fan--no moving anything around! Also and very importantly this case can handle alot of air (4x140mm vents + 4x120 vents goes along way). By the way I am not OCing so my cooling needs are not excessive. The placement of the side (left, front facing you) bottom vent was perfect, letting the cards get their own fresh air. The vent for the PSU could have been alittle bigger but that's ok espically since the placement for the PSU was perfect; it could handle massive amount of cords (I have a Corsair 850TX PSU). That said just make sure you get a PSU with a bottom fan, one with a top fan might not cool as well. The tooless design really doese work (I know some reviews said it didn't) and so does the rubber sound absorbers for the HD cage. As for the included fans...they are what they are but at least the have both 3 & 4 pin adapters. Height, I don't need a full tower case but I am still running two ROM drives, a fan controller and a media panel and there is space for more stuff (besides what more could you add?) So bottom line this is a great case for the money. If you don't mind not having a fancy smancy case with all the bells and whistles then here is a one that is pf solid design, spaceous and has the air flow comparible to that of higher priced cases (Coolermaster HAF) Having owened this case for two months I say this is a mid-tower champ! P.S.: don't let the fact that this case does not include a PSU deter you. Just in case if you don't know the good PSUs are sold seperatly.

Bought this for my son to build his first computer. With a new mobo, cpu, and graphic card we removed the drives from his old HP and I coached him through building a very strong gaming machine. Everything with this case just simply works as planned. Lots of room inside for cable routing and large graphics cards, screwless mounting, and all around well thought design made the job a breeze. The blue fan mounted in the front of the hard drive bay really looks cool when you start it up. Besides that fan, there is one in the back, and mounts for another 6 fans if you want. The CPU is running incredibly cool with just the 2 fans, thanks to the large amount of vented area built into the case; however, if 8 fans aren't enough for you, it's already set up for liquid cooling.Totally satisfied with this case, especially for the price and shipping (I've got Amazon Prime, so the whole thing was shipped free). As an old fart with a technical background, I'm very impressed with the quality of the build and the attention to detail that is evident with the design of the case. Any ideas I had about things I'd rather change or add to the case if I were building one can be found on other Cooler Master cases, so there is one out there for everyone. I'll defiantly be buying another Cooler Master for my next build.

Its about the same size as my other mid-tower case builds and of equal pricing. The extra fan option on the back-side of the motherboard is a truly sweet touch and its directly under the CPU location on the 'board. Installation of parts is easy and the front slide-out of the hard disks is another nice touch, although I would have liked a side slide a bit better. The provision for tying down the cables is another nice touch, too. Overall this Cooler Master case is a winner for this build that will be around for awhile for my use. One huge plus was Amazon's free shipping. Ordered on 3/25 @ 10AM and it was delivered on 3/26 @ 4 PM. That's service. Thank you Amazon!!!! Haven't quite finished configuring the build (have to get case fans yet), but I don't see where there will be a problem.

Very good PC case.,
This review is from: Cooler Master Centurion 590 ATX Mid Tower Case Black - (RC-590-KKN1-GP) (Personal Computers)
This is a very good case with a smart, business like look to it.Spacious interior yet don't expect to fit an SLI setup with large PSU into it comfortably, there is not enough room for that- You will find the PSU cables will have to snake between the hard drives and VGA cards. Which was what happened to me, but reducing the components to something less bulky ie. 1 VGA card and a 650w or above PSU things will look much better inside...

This is a great spacious case that very much met and exceeded my needs. Its housing the i5-750 and very well at that. I recommend buying a nice case above all else-I tried using a crappier atx case that just didn't fit my board. The installation ease and room for expansion are both well worth paying for. I will say that the SATA installation wasn't as streamlined as it could be, but it totally fits my needs.

Great case, easy to install. Although the PSU goes on the bottom you might have to overstretch some cables to get em places, specially the processor cables. The sound cables for the front of the case didn't fit on my motherboard(wrong pins in wrong places). Also the audio link didn't fit on my motherboard. The case is rock solid, but if you don't take advantage of the fans you'll end up with a load of dust in your PC. Really easy to install tho.

I think the case has a lot of potential to be used by a gamer. I am not a gamer, and I find the case fantastic for personal use too. I give it a five star rating because I like how the case is built, easy assembly, and blue lights for all indicators (hard drive, on/off, and fans). The price is right. What more can you ask for?
