My new Cosmos II arrived today (early!) in perfect condition, and although I knew it was going to be big I'm still blown away by just how big it was once I got it out of the box. It totally dwarfs my HAF X, and everyone always remarks how huge it is. lol. Although it's going to take me a couple months to complete my build in this case so I can't reflect on the reliability of switches/ports, etc, but after having given it a thorough once-over unboxing here's my thoughts on it so far.

PROs:
- It's huge, with enough room to accommodate 'almost' any mobo/gpu & air/water cooling alternatives.*
- 13 HDD slots incl 2 hot-swap bays (& I plan on using up every one of them)
- Super-easy access push-down latch (no thumbscrews) swing out doors that easily lift off.
- All air intakes are filtered & easily removable.**
- Seems to be solidly built.*** Thick & sturdy side doors and the top handles are definitely built to help in moving/lifting. Not just for show.
- No side window (I know this probably isn't a plus for most people, but it is to me. I just don't care for them).
- It looks MUCH more amazing/impressive/intimidating than the pictures here reflect.

CONs:
- It's huge. Make SURE you really want a 28"Hx26.5"Dx12.5"W(bottom rails are 13.5"W) case before you buy this one.
- It's heavy, at over 50lbs empty. I suspect it'll be over 100lbs by the time I fill it with the mobo/cpu/gpus & all the HDDs & watercooling I'll eventually get around to putting into it.
- No side window. I hate side windows but I know a lot of people in the demographic this case is meant to appeal to do love them.
* Was surprised to see that it won't easily fit a 360mm push/pull rad setup up top.

Ordered this case for my company server. It is spacious with plenty of HDD expansion option. Finishing is of high quality and technically well designed. Cable management is easier than Cosmos S. Giving it some patient and time, you can manage the cable route nicely and professionally. Ventilation is excellent. I have plenty of Cooling Fans installed. (Noise is not a problem as I used it in Server Room). And I am able to control the fan speed (3 Speed, Low, Medium, High)

But it have its own imperfection. (1) There are too many LED cables to control LED lights for fans. Remember that you don't get transparent side panel for this casing. So what is the use of having all the LED light control cable. (2) This case claims that it is SSI EEB form factor compliant. Unfortunately when I installed an Intel Server Board S2400GP2, the motherboard housing tray short of 1 screw position to hold the motherboard in position. (Near to the back of the I/O panel) (3) And MOST IMPORTANT, handle the 2 HDD Cage with Lock very carefully. The locking handle breaks like a stick if you push it or pull it too hard with HDD. (It is a joke for such a high end case to come with such design fraud.) I am cursing because I broke mine.

I am tougher with this review is because this is a high-end and very expensive casing. And serious flaw for (2) and (3) in the design cannot be accepted. If not for the (2) and (3) imperfection I would given it a 4.5 star.

The best computer case I have ever had. However, get ready because this is not a small case. It is a large case and pretty heavy.
It is very quiet and there is room for anything you want to build in this case. Works great for liquid cool applications.

Purchased this case, Installed 360mm radiator, 9 hard drives, huge water tank. Everything with plenty of room to spare! Only concern is that this case weighs 50# empty mine full clocks in around 102#.

Ok, maybe not. But here's what it will do.

Eat up anything and everything you throw at it. There isn't much you are wanting if you have a lot of junk to keep in the trunk.
I wanted a case that would handle 15 or more HD's and this one does - with a little addition.

Cooler Master makes a 4 in 3 HD bay converter that takes the 3x 5.25 optical bays and turns them into a 4 HD with a blue LED fan that matches up nice. So by the time you are done loading out the 6 bays in the bottom, 5 in the middle, the 2 X-dock hot swap bays and then you drop the 4 bay on top you end up with a grand total of 17 bays.

The bay converter is here: Cooler Master Module Device STB 3T4 E3 GP

It slides right in and then I did some tie wraps to keep it in place. The case has these tool-less pushbutton contraptions rigged up and they didn't work with the 4 in 3 (read: I didn't have the patience to fool with it so maybe they do) - it was easier to tie wrap the thing. It's so heavy with 4 drives it doesn't rattle or vibrate at all, you just have to lash it up so it doesn't fall out if you pick it up (not likely with 17 drives + the rest)

My one niggle is the X-docks do not have a fan built in, you can rig one with a tie wrap but they left them unveniliated.

I love this case. I was all set to get a rackmount server box but wanted a tower. For me it was worth the money.
