Amazing CPU heat sink/cooling fan. I am running the new (AM3+ FX-8350 4.0GHZ turbo 8 core cpu). over clocked with this Cooler never gets above 35C even while gaming. Its Award winning for a reason.
Pros: Works amazing. Looks awesome!!! Makes it look like Beast Machine. runs quiet, comes with all the brackets and screws to be supported on AMD and Intel MOBOs
Cons if you can call them that: was bigger then expected. Its freaking HUGE!!! lol, takes up half a full size ATX MOBO, which isn't a problem cause it looks so awesome, accept, it made it a B word to install since I had to install it on the MOBO before installing the MOBO.. you have to hold the bracket on the back of the MOBO to screw it down. Will have to reverse process to remove it in the future, Screws for this device are non-accessible while MOBO is installed. also because of its size it was very tricky screwing in some mounting screws for the MOBO and connecting some fans and Power connectors when installing the MOBO and power supply. No easy snap in and out for this device. pray you never have to take it off.
:: Personal Experience/ Pointers::
It Does not block any Ram, PCI or SATA ports on my (Asrock 970 Pro3 R2.0) MOBO . So unless my CPU takes a Crap I shouldn't need to remove it for anything. my power supply mounts on the bottom of my Tower, so it wasn't a problem factor in my situation, but I don't know if yours mounts on top near the CPU, if that will be a complication or not., This Device does extend high above the MOBO and almost touches my Side cover, Its bulky on top, but narrows down to the CPU so it may not be a issue for top mounter Power Supplies.
If the cons above do not bother you, I strongly recommend this product. :) Hope I helped and Enjoy.

Greetings All, I bought this cooler for after reading many positive reviews online. It's almost constantly on back-order, but after owning it, I know why. It's simply one of the finest air coolers on the market. The installation is a complete pain if you follow the manual. However, if you remove the fans with a jewelers Phillips-head screwdriver and then install the radiator portion to the motherboard outside the case, you will save a ton of time and frustration. There is really no need to worry about the weight of the fan for LGA 2011 motherboards because most of them have pre-installed back plates. I uploaded a few pics to let you see what it looks like installed in a Cooler Master Storm Trooper Windowed Case. My CPU temps at idle are averaging in the mid to hi 20 degree Celsius range. I think it only hit the mid-40 Celsius range during a 3DMark 13 benchmark. This is one eerily quiet CPU cooler. I didn't hear it go over its normal quiet volume even during bench marking. I find myself looking in the case to see if it's even running. I know the AMD 8000, 9000, and i7-39XX series processors run hotter, but I seriously think this cooler is a great alternative to water cooling and much safer. I have no intentions to overclock, as that was the reason I saved my pennies for almost two years to get a high-end processor and other complimentary components. If it can easily keep the LGA 2011 socket processors cool, then all others should be a piece of cake. Thank you for your time and good luck in your cooler search.
Pros: Quiet, Wow-Factor, and Superior cooling
Cons: Availability, Installation, Price, Proprietary Fans, and Size (probably will not fit most mid-tower or smaller cases)

1 month after purchase and this cooler was a great alternative to H20 cooling however it is very very large. Plan your build carefully due to the nature of its overwhelming size, I had to install two memory sticks first before they became covered. I can still wiggle them out if really needed but I took caution to install 16gb in those 2 slots so I should need to. One other thing that was frustrating at first was the insanely improper tool to secure the cooler. Again due to it's size there are hex bolts that attach to a mounting plate on the back side of the motherboard and they have a "Philips" head but the tool they provide is a hex wrench. If you have a "phillips" type right angle tool than installation will be a breeze. Like an "Allen wrench with a Phillips head". Lights are nice and again I like this cooler, you just need to plan well. BTW, I do serious gaming with a lot of heat produced and this works well.

This thing is huge I installed it in my open air case, Strike-X-Air with a Sabertooth Z87 motherboard. I thought it might hit the thermal armor but it fits nice clears the ram all so. Before installing at idle temps was around 100 afterwards it dropped to 87 what a diiferance it made. It's worth the money big time. Instructions are a little vage but look close at the pic's and it makes sense.
