Had a Power man 350watt power supply for my Cybertronpc Trooper and I wanted more power, so after some research on the computer is when I decided to try this power supply from Cooler Master. I like the fact it is 80 plus gold certified and it looks good in my case. I noticed on my cyberpower battery backup watt gadget display is that it is running more efficiently and less wattage compared to when it had the Power man. I've added two more cooler master fans, another internal hard drive, and another 8gb of ram for my photoshop applications. I am real pleased with this power supply. The next product I want to buy for my PC is a good graphics card (leaning towards the EVGA GeForce GTX760 SuperClocked). I've had this product since June 12, 2014 and it is still running strong. Hope this helps since I didn't see any reviews on it from Amazon.

I bought this to replace a SeaSonic X560 Gold and its working out very well. Compact design, very quiet, strong 12v rail for midrange gaming systems, semi-modular with the important cables hardwired. Its just about perfect for a single GPU system. My PC has an FX-6300 @ 4.5 Ghz and a GTX 770 4GB. It can easily handle them and stay silent in the process. I have a pretty quiet system (Noctua CPU heatsink/fan, Gigabyte Windforce GTX 770 and quiet Scythe case fans) and I can't hear the V650 over them even while gaming. No coil whine, no capacitor squeal, no loud fan - just quiet power delivery. The gold rating means better efficiency as well and cooler operation.

Only con is the packaging is pretty basic. The SeaSonic came in a black velvet bag and had neat little velcro pouches for the cables plus a nicely printed manual. The V650 is in a cardboard egg carton type holder with the cables in plastic bags. Then again, the SeaSonic cost $30 more two years ago for that fancy packaging. I can live with the more basic arrangement for the lower price! The power supply is of high quality manufacture and that's what counts.

Basically, I'm really happy with the V650. Its the first Cooler Master power supply I've purchased and if it holds up well it won't be the last. Nice thing about the warranty (if I ever have to use it) is that it's five years and Cooler Master pays shipping both ways. Almost no one does that.

So far so good! Great silent power supply with plenty of power for my needs...probably overkill for my Sli set up but whatever! Cables are a bit stiff and not as long as the ones from my Corsair HX650 it replaced but it's not a problem for me since I use sleeved extensions. Not sure why, but my Valley benchmarks 1.0 results increased after installing this psu. Maybe my graphics card was not set correctly previously or what not. Overall, I'm happy with my purchase....as far as reliability, only time will tell!!!

The Cooler Master 1000 power supply is based on the excellent Seasonic KM3 platform, ships in a very attractive box proudly bearing 80 Plus Gold Certification logo but the cooler itself is a very attractive, finished mostly in black.

The quality of the 18AWG cables is excellent, all beside the main ATX cable are the flat ribbon style which are easier to route and can improve airflow. V1000 also have 8x PCIe cables which will cover a Quad SLI or Crossfire system build.

The efficiency results are great but even more important the power supply is quiet almost all of the time, unless it's loaded to its limits which is not an easy task because it can endure even to the 1200 Watts before shutting off.

Using this power supply for more than a month, impressions are more than positive. Cooler Master is rock solid and shows no weaknesses. Its excellent build quality, high grade components, low noise and 5 year warranty makes it must have power supply in this price range.

Only weakness should be for some users insufficient number of SATA and Molex cables, some additional would be useful.

Huge recommendations.

There is Plenty of power , felt like i'm running Hercules in my computer ... two GTX 780 ti a liquid cool for cpu and than again 2 more liquid cool for GPU ... amazzzzinnggggg .. just to add it doesn't contain s*** quality cables .... all the cables included are great quality.

The only issue i ran into and maybe its just for me ... for some reason the cable are not that long ... and again may be its just me so please let me know your feedback .. Thanks

I have this PSU for about a month, installed it in my 24/7 folding rig.
Hardware:
i7 3770k clocked at 4.2 Ghz @ 1.2v
2 Nvidia GTX 780's, overclocked to 1150 Mhz
1 SSD and 2 HDD.
At full load when folding, I get a 650w + or - power consumption using a power monitor, It's runing at this wattage since it was installed. 24/7.
So far I have no issues with this PSU. I'm using a HAF XB case, so I can't complain about the length of the cables as other users noted.
I will definitely recommend this PSU.

This PSU is fantastic. Super quiet, fully modular cables with the capability of more connectors than anyone should actually ever need in a home gaming system.

The modular cables means you only put in the power wiring that you currently need, eliminating excess wires hanging around in the case. This makes wire management really easy with this PSU. I researched PSUs for my new computer build pretty extensively before settling on this one. There are a lot of brands out there that put out a good product but in the last year or two Cooler Master has really stepped up their game with their PSU lines, especially with this one. This truly is Gold standard and will handle pretty much whatever you throw at it without complaint. And did I mention it really is actually very quiet.

Just one tiny pet peeve I have with this unit though. The logos on the side of the PSU are written so that they are right side up with the fan on the top, ie mounted in the bottom of your case. However on the outside of the PSU next to the master power switch and AC input the company name is upside down. I know, I know. Who spends time looking at the back panel of their computer. Nobody. But I know it is there and for the life of me I can't figure out why CM would write it that way.

So if you are looking to build a moderately hight end gaming PC this is the perfect PSU line for you.
