Coolerguys Dual 80mm USB Cooling Fans
To use these fans you will need access to a USB port, the fan will switch on when the device is powered.
It's been tested and will work with popular devices like Cable & Satellite Boxes as well as most common game consoles like the Nintendo Wii, Xbox 360, and Playstation 3.
Also it's a great addition to a closed computer cabinet so you can exhaust the hot air that is created by the computer whenever it is powered on.
They come with rubber feet to stick on the bottom of fans to prevent scratches and movement when placed on top of a device and a wire grill to keep fingers and any stray wires from getting into the fan blades.

My current Media Center PC is in a closed cabinet and was overheating, so I looked for a solution to solve this problem.
I found these two USB powered fans and they work like a charm. I just drilled two holes in the back of the cabinet, put the fans there and I had no more heating issues. They are very very quiet and the best thing is that, since they are USB powered, they only work when the PC is switched on. I am very happy with this item.

These fans are excellent. I have an old but still wonderful Plasma TV that has heat issues. I bought 3 sets of these fans, got a hot glue gun and tacked the fans to the TV hot spots. I swapped the grills on 50% of the fans so that 3 blow air into the TV and 3 draw hot air out - powered them temporarily with my cable box USB and used a USB hub to send current to all fans. Wonderful fans. Eventually I'll open the back of the TV and see if I can permanently screw mount them and find an internal power source so the fans turn off in concert with the TV. I give the fans 5 stars.

I needed to cool my cable box and bluray player that are in an enclosed entertainment cabinet
that my wife picked out. Hole sawed 2 openings in the back top behind the components, plugged the usb connection into the useless one on the cable box and there you have it cool and quiet.
