purchased this suit for my 1 year old/21 pounds in 18 month size. she was able to wear it- but it does get larger as it gets wet and was pretty roomy on her. she will definately be wearing it next swim season as well i think. kept my red-headed daughter sunburn free and rash free for 2 weeks at the beach. snaps in the crotch like a romper make it easy to get on and off- that was the best feature! i only used sunscreen for her face and feet the whole vacation!

I purchased size 18 months for my 14 month old/22 lb little girl. It is very big on her. I regret not exchanging it for a size 12m as it sags on her in the water. Awesome protection and super cute! She has worn it to the splash park, the beach, the pool, and boating. No sunburn on her fair skin. The quality beats anything you will find at target/walmart ect.

This is super cute and the colors are really bright. When it is wet it hangs a little more but it achieves the coverage you need for baby skin.
