5.0 out of 5 stars 450W Coolmax Dual Fan Power Supply
This power supply has a good finish, runs quietly, and has a motherboard connector that works on older ATX and the newest P4. Plenty of power connectors too.

3.0 out of 5 stars No LED's, dented case, dead after 8 months
As everyone else mentioned, this product doesn't actually have the LED's as shown. I figured that before I ordered, so no big deal.

It also arrived with the power supply casing dented at the top and bottom on one side, as though it was dropped on its side The box it was shipped in was pristine which leads me to believe it was dented when it was packed (or...

As everyone else mentioned, this product doesn't actually have the LED's as shown. I figured that before I ordered, so no big deal.

It also arrived with the power supply casing dented at the top and bottom on one side, as though it was dropped on its side The box it was shipped in was pristine which leads me to believe it was dented when it was packed (or before), not damaged during transit.

But it works, it's quiet, and I need my PC now, so as a lazy passive-aggressive consumer I'm just going to keep it and gripe a little about the dents.

*Updated 4/6/2009 - can't reboot my PC anymore, the power supply is making lots of noise and just isn't delivering enough juice to run the PC anymore. It gets to the stage where it scans for drives and freezes - which is the same problem I had when I replaced the original supply with this one...going to try a different brand, and one with more watts.

When the power supply in my tower quit working, I replaced it with this unit. It works well, it is quiet, and it was easy to install. After reading several reviews, I purchased the unit from Amazon to make sure it had the LEDs as advertised. I was disappointed because this unit did not have the advertised LEDs.

Received this product and it literally had screws falling out of the case. I'm not going to mess around with a power supply that is falling apart when brand new.

This power supply has plenty on connections. I was able to get ride on some of my Y-Adapters from my older power supply. The fans are quiet. It seems to be made well.

I Would buy another one in a heart beat.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good power supply, not quite as advertised., January 30, 2008

This review is from: Coolmax CT-450 450W Power Supply (Silver) (Personal Computers)
I bought this power supply for my tower to be sure I would have plenty of power for all of my drives and so far it has worked out well. The only problem I have and the reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is the lack of the LEDs as other people have also complained about. Granted I bought this one from the Amazon Marketplace and not directly from Amazon so it is not their fault, but merchants advertising that they are selling the same product should actually provide the same product and not just a similar product. This is actually the second time something like this has happened to me with a Marketplace merchant so it's something to be aware of when making that kind of purchase.

4.0 out of 5 stars All right..., September 15, 2007

This review is from: Coolmax CT-450 450W Power Supply (Silver) (Personal Computers)
The power of this power supply for the cost is pretty decent. It's not the LED model like it states though. Which really doesn't bother me, but I slapped this in a friend's computer and told her it would have pretty lights, and it doesn't. =( Which made me feel like a fool. Minus one star for the false labeling.

3.0 out of 5 stars Another quality Coolmax product, January 29, 2007

This review is from: Coolmax CT-450 450W Power Supply (Silver) (Personal Computers)
A very nice power supply that works well (so far).

Installation was a breeze, however, instructions should be included for those who may be less computer savvy (or more cautious than myself).

The unit delivered did not have the LEDs as advertised - thus the reduction to three stars.
