This is a very nice FTA receiver, easy to set up and very simple to use. Of course, it only gets the two "free" channels if you are trying to use it for bootlegging DISH network, but if you use it the way it was intended - true Free-To-Air television - you have hundreds to chose from. The blind scan is simple to operate, channels can be edited and re-arranged as desired, favorites lists are very quick and easy to set up and change. The first scan found several more channels than my Fortec receiver, both television and radio. A 2-gig USB drive holds about two hours of recorded programming, and it is all very intuitive. You can't go wrong with this receiver.

The equipment itself is not bad: you can pause, go back, skip commercials and record on an external USB hard drive (the recording only starts from live, not if you want to record something that you rewind). The problem is that there are only 2 free channels: NASA and Angel. The programmer for this box are too lazy and too bad (+ they will not give you the program, you have to wait for them to fix it, or get the new codes, when the broadcasting codes are changed) and therefore you can be without any signal for weeks or having an every-one-minute freezing reception that can last 5 or more minutes, impossible to watch. How long will you have continuous watching? Sometimes one to two days; sometimes 4 days; and the maximum I've had is a 15 days in about to 2 years. Sometimes you update the program and it won't work. + there is no way to communicate with the programmers or get any info of what is going on. In my opinion: a waist of money.
