"B" grade should really stand for "Best" grade.,

Organic and Kosher certified- and Vermont produced and processed (very important to those doing "Master Cleanse" or "Lemonade" dieting). This is also from an independently ran, 7th generational, Vermont family business. So they have a demonstrated investment in providing high quality and reliable products. And for those unfamiliar with B-grade. The grades only are categories of color and flavor degree. A is the lightest in color and maple taste. B- provides a darker color and a true maple taste. Maple syrup also is an ideal substitute for other sweetners - it is a nutrient rich natural sugar. I used to swear by honey. Then found Maple Syrup (unadulterated) to be superior in nutritional benefits. I still use Honey for its unique benefits. But Maple syrup is clearly the better choice for general use and at the lower cost of using (and better taste) of grade-B (compared to grade-A), it is at a reasonable price to do so.

Grade B is the way to go!,

Wonderfully maple-y! So much more flavorful than grade A. It's hard to describe how this tastes, but it almost has a hint of coffee flavor and it doesn't taste like pure sugar. A little goes a long way on pancakes so I don't worry as much about calories.
I was worried about buying too much (64 oz, holy cow!), but it's really hard to find Grade B in my local grocery stores. I bit the bullet and googled a whole bunch of recipes using maple syrup. This can be used in all sorts of stuff ranging from salad dressings, marinades, ice cream toppings, cornbread, and baked beans. And that's only what I've actually tried!

Great Syrup; Great Price,
By So I was thankful to see a review in Real Simple magazine, with Coombs having the best flavor for organic pure maple syrup. I LOVE IT!! I am trying to stay away from processed sugar, so natural maple syrup is the organic way to do that. I use it in my tea. I use it in oatmeal. Try this: 1 packet plain oatmeal mixed with 2/3 Cup milk. Microwave for 90 seconds and add two tablespoons maple syrup and 1-2 tablespoons peanut butter, plus 1/2 banana, cut up. It's my new favorite breakfast and I hope you enjoy it! Buy the syrup.

Coomb's Maple Syrup, grade B,
This is the best tasting syrup that I have ever tried and the price can not be beat.
I put it in my oatmeal, my protein shakes and on my sweet potatoes. My kids tease me and say I am like the guy from the ELF movie.

All of my kids (even the ones that didn't like syrup) love this product. I normally skip syrup and use PB and Jam but now I use the syrup because it has so much authentic flavor. Also, doesn't make me shaky...

Coombs grade B maple syrup,
Excellent product. Grade B is often referred to as " cooking " syrup because of it's strong maple flavor, I prefer it on waffles, french toast, hell-just about everything.Good job Coombs.

Great Maple Syrup - Beware Plastic Containers for Storage!,
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Coombs Family Farms 100% Pure Organic Maple Syrup Grade B, 32 Ounce Jug (Pack of 2) (Grocery)
Love this Grade B Maple Syrup, and though many use Grade B only for baking, we think it's awesome for waffles. My only complaint is that these big jugs tend to last a long time, but plastic containers are not good for long term storage. Be aware that maple syrup should be refrigerated to ensure freshness (even if the bottle hasn't been opened). Because plastic containers are porous, the refrigerator shelf life is usually around three to four months, whereas if you use a glass container, then the syrup will maintain quality for a year. Of course, Coombs and other syrup makers probably use plastic due to cost of the containers as well as shipping (glass weighs more and requires extra care when shipping), so if you need to store your syrup for longer than a few months, just buy a nice glass jar, and transfer your syrup into it for refrigeration! And if you bought the 2 pack of 32 ounce jugs, you can freeze the one indefinitely to maintain its freshness, while using the other.

Not only did the syrup arrive quickly, it tastes delicious! We had been missing the flavor of real syrup on our pancakes, waffles and in baking. I bought some grade A, and of course it is yummy. But after eating this batch of grade B syrup, WOW! such flavor, robust! We love it! You could almost eat it without the pancakes, etc.
