Biography

Buckethead is the enigmatic and prolific guitarist and composer, who allows himself to be identified only by the superior skill of his virtuoso guitar playing. Although he has enjoyed significant success as a solo artist and soundtrack writer, he has also formed many notable collaborations with respected peers from the musical world, including Serj Tankian, Guns N’ Roses and Bill Laswell’s Praxis.… Read more in Amazon's Buckethead Store

5.0 out of 5 stars A great riff-o-rama, September 16, 2010

I normally don't review music but I had to in response to Anglobotomy. His comments describe what this actually is, a bunch of demos from BH when he was a teen learning his craft. As a guitarist (& for any musicians out there), this is an incredible display of string acrobatics showing us BH fans what was to come next. I suggest Anglobotomy & any one else who takes the time to type in a review should actually know what they're talking about first then the readers might get something out of it. Back to the music, this is a piece of BH history & worth a listen if you like hurricane speed riffing...

1.0 out of 5 stars Ugh, July 21, 2009

This album sucks. I've been a fan of Buckethead for many years and I love many of his albums. I enjoy his quirkiness, his whimsical side, his incredible ability, but sometimes he produces entire albums of crap. This album doesn't show his early talent so much as his inability to put together anything remotely like a complete song. He occasionally fall short of this on later albums too. This is not worth owning.
