The Greengate OSW-P-0451-DMV-N-A 120-277 Dual-Level PIR Wall Switch Sensor is a self contained, energy saving, motion-sensing lighting control which replaces a conventional wall switch and utilizes ultrasonic technology to detect room motion. The sensor produces a low-intensity, inaudible sound to detect occupancy in a room. Changes in the sensor’s acoustic wave caused by motion, such as walking into a room, reaching for a telephone or swiveling in a chair, will cause the lights to turn on. The sensor does not respond to audible sound. The OSW-P-0451-DMV-N-A allows the control of two separate loads with one switch. The two circuit/dual-level switch operates the same in the auto and manual modes as the single circuit switch. To change light levels once the lights are on, the user presses and holds the touchplate allowing the lights to cycle through in the following order: primary load only, both loads, secondary loads only. The OSW-P-0451-DMV-N-A also has an energy saver mode that ensures that the wall switch only activates one load. If both loads are on when the sensor times out, only the primary load will be activated. If only the primary or secondary load was on at time of shut out, the sensor will reactivate the load that was on at the time. If the lights were shut off manually, the switch will activate the primary load only. The OSW-P-0451-DMV-N-A time-delay is adjustable from 15 seconds to 30 minutes. Greengate wall switches are ideal for smaller spaces where you will not have obstructions of line-of-sight due to switch location, room orientation or furniture placement. An air-gap switch ensures no leakage current to load for maximum product reliability, and zero-crossing technology maximizes relay life and ensures wall switch longevity. The NEMA WD7 Guide robotic method is utilized to verify coverage patterns, there is no minimum load requirement, and the OSW-P-0451-DMV-N-A has 120 and 277 volts in the same unit.
