Quickly charge smart phones, tablets, e-readers, MP3 players and more while also powering traditional electronics such as lamps or televisions in the same receptacle.
The National Electronic Injury Surveillance System (NEISS) reports that more than 2,400 children are injured each year by inserting foreign objects into receptacles. Tamper resistant receptacles feature a built-in UL listed safety shutter system that prevents the insertion of foreign objects into the receptacle openings. This means that the safety shutters only open when a two-bladed prong presses simultaneously against the two shutters for added security and protection.
