This book was suggested to me as a reference to help me and my ex-wife work together as better co-parents. It has great insights and some very down to Earth information that we have found very helpful. We are on our way to being better parents now by focusing only on the needs of the child instead of being caught up on the old, toxic muck that was our personal baggage from the marriage. I highly recommend this book!

I've used the Cooperative Parenting handbook with over a hundred high conflict divorced or divorcing parents over the last decade in my child and family therapy practice, and the communication and anger management techniques have really helped them lower the conflict, stay focused on the kids' needs, and resolve problems. This book acknowledges that when couples divorce, they are ending their marriage but they are still their children's family.

This is an excellent resource for anyone going through a high conflict divorce.
