Despite a few word useage errors that should be corrected, this is a good story for kids, particularly those being bullied.

5.0 out of 5 stars Loud out loud funny May 25, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
Eddy, Brian, and Charlie are used to being bullied by Stuart Leroy. Now there is a girl moving onto Canterbury Court. What are they to do? Eddy's mom sends him and Charlie to be the welcoming committee and they meet Darla but Darla does not want to do what all the other girls do. She wants to play football. She wants to join their club. She is also bullied by Stuart Leroy but she has a plan. Will the plan work to get Stuart out of their lives?

This was laugh out loud, tears rolling down my cheeks funny. Jim Gratiot makes comparisons that put pictures in my mind that are so funny. It's great. It teaches kids on dealing with bullying. It also teaches them how to admit someone different into their lives. Fantastic prose, great story. Loved the cover. Good for 8 and up.

5.0 out of 5 stars AWESOME!! October 21, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
This was a great book! Both my boys (ages 7 & 9) loved it!! It was age appropriate and they didn't want to put the book down. The only disappointment was that it had to end! Looking forward to more books from this author -- great job! :)

5.0 out of 5 stars Revenge is Sweet October 11, 2011
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
First time writer Jim Gratiot provides a tale of a bully, his victims, and a new-girl-in-town who helps them plot the ultimate revenge. A suspense-filled yet easy read for older kids. I enjoyed reading it, and will give it to my son (now age 7) in about a year or so when he's older.
