About the Author

Tom Cline has been with the Chicago Police Department since 1968. He worked a beat car as a patrol officer, investigated hate crimes before they were called that, was "Officer Friendly" to thousands of Chicago's school children as well as their D.A.R.E. and G.R.E.A.T. officer. The last 3 years he has been writing curriculum and training police recruits at Chicago's Police Academy . He wrote their Leadership and Ethics programs. Cline is happily married with seven children, one of each. His alter ego, "Rooster T. Magic Clown" is pictured on the front cover of Cop Tales! Volume 1 (Never Spit in a Man's Face Unless His Mustache is On Fire)

Look at the cover picture and you pretty much know what you are getting. Amusing stories but nothing side-splitting or worth repeating.
