Kevin Maher, working in conjunction with the FBI, the NYPD and the Secret Service, has helped solve more than a dozen homicides, put a regiment of Mafia soldiers behind bars, and plugged a high volume Columbia-Miami-New York cocaine pipeline. After a cop helped Maher avoid a second jail term in 1974, Maher began a dangerous undercover career that spanned two decades.
Screenwriter/Producer/Author Charles Kipps has won an Emmy, a Peabody, and an Edgar Award.
Kipps' film credits include Fat Albert, a feature film for Twentieth Century Fox co-written with Bill Cosby. He has two upcoming films: Anatomy of the Tide and Zarra's Law.
His television credits include Exiled: A Law & Order Movie (NBC), Little Bill (Nickelodeon), Fatherhood (Nickelodeon), The Cosby Mysteries (NBC), Columbo (ABC), and Law & Order: Criminal Intent (NBC).
His early career as a journalist included a stint as Features Editor for Variety. He is the author of the Conor Bard Mystery series with two titles currently available: Hell's Kitchen Homicide and Crystal Death. He also is the author of two non-fiction books: Out of Focus and Cop Without A Badge.
Kipps was awarded seven gold records writing and producing songs for artists such as Aretha Franklin and Gladys Knight. He wrote Walk Away From Love, a number one hit for David Ruffin, former lead singer of The Temptations.
