It Does what it is supposed to do, Boils water. Plus It has a great whistle and is just adorable to look at which is why I gave it 4 stars. Problem is that it chips inside and out pretty easily, mine is a only couple weeks old and already has 3 or 4 chips, one inside on the bottom that happened near immediately, so you know with that chip it will rust eventually (How does a person chip something with water???) mine could have been defective, I did not want to bother shipping it back. If you just want to collect, it is an adorable one!

This is just too ADORABLE!! I bought this for a gift, & I liked it so much I bought a second one for myself! My 3 boys, ages 8, 11, & 13, wanted to keep the first & give the second one away as a gift, as they did not want to give it away at all, for fear of it not being available again (we've experienced that pitfall on Amazon before) ! Then lo & behold, the second one came in damaged, (boy were they upset! They said, see.....we told you to keep the other one!) but Amazon promptly replaced it, they sent the replacement out immediatly & credited my account when the damaged one arrived back to them! Kudos to Amazon!!XOXOX IF YOU WANT A GREAT VALENTINES GIFT, DON'T WAIT AS THIS BABY WILL MOST LIKELY NOT BE AVAILABLE THEN! Get it NOW!!

I have a kitchenaid teakettle also & am hard pressed to say which one I prefer......but I do think I tend to favor this one, the handle stays a bit cooler & you can grab it more from the side to pour the last bits of water out easier than with the Kitchenaid kettle!

Not only the cutest darn tea kettle you will ever find, it is the best one I have owned! It was gift from my loving boyfriend and I was so charmed by it (and him!) but wondered if it would work as good as it looked. YES IT DOES!

It heats up very quickly with the wide bottom and the whistle is like a strong wind - loud enough to let you know immediatly when your water is hot, but not peircing or shrill like some that make your hair curl. It is a breeze to clean if stove messes occur, you just wipe it with a damp cloth. The handle stays much cooler than others I have tried and the spout is at a great angle with very helpful flip-switch for one hand pouring. A real gem.

Did I mention it is cute as can be? It looks like it was forged out of the fevered dreams of Hello Kitty and Minnie Mouse. I imagine it would delight children too.

A perfectly designed tea kettle with personality. The wide base absorbs heat faster. Very cheery addition to our kitchen.

I saw this kettle in Fortunoff's a long time ago (before they closed)and was looking for it everywhere. I was so excited to find it on Amazon for less than it was at Fortunoff's. It is such a great addition to my kitchen. Its not too bulky yet holds a lot of water and made of very high quality materials. We use it everyday and it still looks brand new. And I get so many compliments on it!

The kettle is adorable to look at but poorly constructed. This is my second one. The first had a chip on the bottom when I took it out of the box. On this kettle, the small heart shaped lid with the whistle, does not properly fit over the spout, so when the water boils, all of the steam escapes out of the sides of the lid instead of being forced through the whistle hole. Therefore, there was no whistle and I wound up with a kitchen full of steam. Because I love the look of the kettle, I'm actually going to try one more. If the third one is defective...I'm done!!! UPDATE: I got the 3rd kettle yesterday and as soon as I took it out of the box I saw how poorly it was painted. There were actually drips of white paint that had been glazed over in the final process. Not only that, there were 3 dents in the kettle! I can't believe the lack of quality control that would allow a product like this to leave the factory. Did they think know one would notice?! Now I'm on my way to the post office once again to return this last defective kettle. I am truly done.

This cute heart tea kettle just arrived (much faster than expected!!) & I LOVE IT. It's a well made tea kettle, holds a lot of water, heats fast & is easy to handle. Also very cute without being over done.

This teakettle was a Valentine's gift for myself. Best gift I ever got on Valentine's Day. Love it, looks great on my stove. I look at it every day.

Everything about this "Teakettle" is wonderful. I bought this for the wife as a gift and she loves it, she really liked the color, the design, and the thought...:)
I'm only giving it 4 stars, because of the quality. When we received it there was a little chip, so I think it chips really easy. Other than than it's really nice.

This tea pot is excellent! It makes the water boil really fast, if it gets dirty is easy to clean, it looks awesome over the stove and keep the water warm for a while before it gets cold.

Esta tetera es excelente! Hierve el agua en tiempo record, el sonido que avisa es bastante agradable (no destruye timpanos como otros, se ve hermosa arriba de la cocina, es facil de limpiar y mantiene el agua calentita incluso despues de un rato.

Seria un regalo perfecto para el dia de la madre!!
