I bought this turntable to replace a 1980's plastic version and it is fantastic. It makes my newly renovated cabinets look clean and organized. It turns very smoothly and makes finding items a breeze. I also bought the two level turntable that matches it and am equally pleased. And the price was very fair as well.

This is a good turntable and unlike the plastic ones it looks good, too. The big problem is that it doesn't use ball bearing which means it can't handle much weight and does not turn smoothly when a heavy object is on it. I have a plastic one with ball bearings which is better in this regard. I bought it for cake decorating and seems to get the job done.

I bought this turn table to use in metalsmithing. I can put my piece on a tripod and spin the table while I solder. It works great for that and it is the perfect size.

I use these in the shelf that I keep my cooking oils and the like on. It allows me to find these fairly heavy items (full bottles of olive oil, for instancee) without shuffling through and moving aside items in front and without straining my neck to try and see what is behind.
The turntable is sturdy enough that it still spins easily even if the items on it are unbalanced. While I'm not concerned about looks as this stays in the shelf, the metal gives the turntable a sturdier feel while also giving it a more professional look. I wouldn't hesitate to use it in a visible location.

A really great friend of mine introduced me to these magnificent little helpers. My kitchen and bathroom cabinets will never be the same! And that's a good thing. I love the sleek shiny look of these lazy susans too ... Sure beats the plastic variety my grandma used for her spices. I even keep one on the bathroom counter to keep my 96 different kinds of sprays, salves, lotions, etc ... Works like magic. I also use them under the kitchen sink to keep cleaning products, and in the kitchen cabinets to hold soup cans and broth. Unlike one of the other reviewers, I have not had difficulty turning the lazy susan due to the weight of the soup cans (and I have a lot of soup because, unlike the friend who turned me onto these, I do not cook). Needless to say, if your kitchen and bathroom cabinets are in a shambles; these are an easy answer. Oh, and you can't find them for less than this price anywhere -- we looked ALL OVER!

I recently purchased this turntable for countertop use. It holds cream, sugar, salt and pepper perfectly and turns easily on granite counters.

Haven't had it long but it turns very, very smoothly without taking off into orbit

Perfect for my spice cabinet. No more taking everything out of the cabinet when the spice or herb I need is in the back. Only reason I got the stainless was because it was the size I needed but it really is beautiful. Good quality.

Works great!! May buy a couple more soon. Use for spice cabinet and sewing notions on shelf, etc. Goes around smooth.

I use this stainless steel turntable to organize the small jars of jelly and pickles in my refrigerator that always seemed to get pushed to the back and forgotten. It's easy to clean and is more attractive and sturdier than the plastic version. It has proven to be the exact solution I was looking for. I would absolutely purchase again.
