This carafe truly keeps the coffee hot. I researched many other brands at much higher prices. This perfectly priced carafe advertised it kept coffee hot for eight hours. I wondered if that was true. Actually I think it was longer. I put hot coffee in it at 2 pm, checked it at 9pm to find it was as hot as when I put it in. Then the next morning at 8 am, I tested it and the coffee was more than warm. This brand, this very affordable carafe, is wonderful if you want HOT COFFEE throughout the day. This would be great for traveling. Just follow the directions: put in hot water for five minutes and do not immerse it in water or unscrew the bottom.

I've used this particular model carafe almost a year now. I pre-heat it with hot water before use as directed and it works just fine, keeping water hot enough for tea/coffee all day. Follow directions, PRE-HEAT, it does what is reasonably expected. I do not think a really expensive carafe would outperform this one, not enough to merit spending the extra $$$$!

I bought two, filled them with hot gravy and placed on the Thanksgiving tables. I was able to make the gravy ahead to reduce the last minute rush to get everything ready and the gravy stayed HOT for hours! Everyone was happy, cold gravy is ugly.

I use this mainly for tea, where i come from tea is daily habit! however when i came to USA i couldn't find any good looking thermal's until i saw this item on amazon! and it really works well! it saves the heat for up to 6-8 hours which is what i need :).

These are really great for the price. I was going to buy some of those coffee to-go boxes for an event and found that I could instead buy these for pretty much the same price, make my own coffee and be able to use these for events or personal use in the future. I pre-heated it, as instructed, and found the coffee to be super-hot hours later. The color is slightly off-white, which is too bad, for some reason it just seems like it makes it look slightly cheaper to me. But they still look nice and work great.

Turn around of ordering and receiving this product was good. Very pleased with this product. Keeps liquids very hot for many hours. Highly recommend.

I have been looking for a good carafe and this two pack was the cheapest I could find and was a good value from what I had read. It keeps coffee as hot as long as I need it too without having to worry about the strong taste of leaving it on the burner. So far the longest I have used it has been about two hours with coffee inside. Since its a two pack I will probably use the other for vegetable soup when my wife makes it since leaving it on the stove makes it thicken up.

Just remember not to submerge it in water or unscrew the bottom and not stick it in the dishwasher. I will probably get a baby bottle brush to clean the inside. Works like it supposed too so I am happy.

I AM VERY HAPPY WITH THIS PRODUCT. I KEEPS MY COFFEE HOT FOR HOURS.

Style fits well with any kitchen or placeware design. I've used for coffee, teas, and even gravy ~ it's kept all of them piping hot for hours. For gravy, while it kept it hot for entire holiday meals, don't expect to use for "lumpy" gravy, and do expect it to pour any others slowly ~ but still filled it's purpose.

My wife likes to boil up a pot of water and then make herself tea throughout the day. Before getting this she had no good method for keeping the water hot, so she ended up with a lot of cold tea. I bought this carafe for her and it has exceeded our expectations. It keeps things hot even longer than the 8 hours advertised. I boiled a pot of water for her one evening after dinner, probably around 7:00, made her some tea and put the rest in this carafe. We didn't get to making any more that evening. The next morning I remembered the hot water was still in there. It was after 9:00, so a full 14 hours later, and I assumed it would be luke warm, but thought I would try it. The water was still still too hot to drink! For the price you can't beat it.
