Amazon.com Review
When its time for a tea party, this kettle boils enough water for several pots. Generously proportioned and larger than most teakettles, the three-quart Viola features a wide base that places a greater surface area on the burner, which in turn brings water to a boil more quickly. A gentle harmonic whistle plays when the water is ready, and a thumb-push mechanism lifts the whistle lid and locks open for convenient, safe pouring. The spout itself is wide enough to fill easily from a tap if desired. Pouring with a nice balance, the gracefully rounded handle is made of heat-resistant phenolic, as is the entire top of the oval 18/10 stainless-steel lid. Copco has made the mirror-finish, 18/10 stainless steel of the body 20 percent thicker than most similar teakettles, which gives it a very substantial, quality feel. The Viola measures 8-3/4 by 9-3/4 inches.
