I used this on a trip to Copenhagen and found the text and maps quite useful.
A newer work of a similar nature was found in the Copenhagen City Art Museum which was not available at Amazon and had more modern architecture as well. The comparison of the two works is worthwhile. This book could have benefited by the color illustrations in the newer work and its more contemporary structures. The newer work is a rather boxy small and thick book that is less pocket friendly, while of equal heft. The text in this book is a bit more helpful for those who want more technical aspects of construction emphasized. This work is more easily packed as well. |
