I was a bit reluctant to purchase this set due to the price. Seems pretty expensive for pens. However, I decided to slurge and I'm so glad I did. These pens are FABULOUS!! They are so smooth and fluid. They add just the right amount of sparkle to all of my scrapbook pages. I now don't do a page without these awesome pens. Loved them so much, I also purchased and pen set A through Overstock.com because they were slightly less expensive and had free shipping. No regrets with these two set. Treat yourself and buy the best pens ever!!

Before my purchase here, I had the opportunity to try these pens at my local scrapbooking/stamping store. I fell in love with the pens! They are not like any other glitter pen I've used or owned before. The gitter is very fine and comes out easily and looks so pretty on my projects.

They don't come out really bold glittery. They are very soft. Also, Amazon has the best prices on these markers. I saved around $10.00 per set. And I did buy both sets A and B.

I use these all the time for making cards, scrapbooking or anywhere I want a little glitz! I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.

Because I read the reviews before I purchased. I order about $200 in pens of all sorts a month. I try to keep the price down. So far my favorite for the money WERE SargentArt Glitter metallics. But they have been discontinued :{. Next are Fiskars. Always clear running ink. So when I saw these, I thought "Oh, these are a bit pricey, but hey! Maybe they are really impressive and I will treat myself. BIG NO!!!! These pens run dry VERY fast. As a matter of fact, they dried out afer about a square INCH of covered area. There are so many good reviews here, maybe the ones I bought have been on the shelf for a while (makes sense since they are twice the amount of fiskars and with fiskars you get 48 pens, this package was only 12 pens so they probably do not move as fast) So, truly, even if they ran great, and didn't run out, the colors are not so impressive that I would make the same mistake again.

These are like no pens I've had. The inner barrel is filled with fiber to keep the ink from flowing free I guess. Unfortunately that means you get a streaked stroke of heavy ink blobs and an uneven application that's difficult to correct. The pen tip is plastic and picks up the paper then leaves it on the next stroke in specks even with the lightest of touch to the paper. The colors black, silver, blossom, olive, lemon, chocolate, sky blue, pitch black, orange, gold and turquoise are usually fairly reliable for a unusually short time, but I have had some that still work after 6 months (rarely). I get one picture on an 8X11 paper of ink and sparkle. After that the sparkle is absent. I still get some ink but repetitive strokes to one spot become necessary, other pens leave heavy ink in uneven streaks. I use the clear to get some sparkle on a color. The colors lavender, olive, pink, orange typically leave very heavy ink flow that will soak through the paper unevenly. The lilac, clear, buttermilk, mint and pink colors typically don't work after just a small area about 3-5 inches square of ink then if any ink comes out it is so very pale. The plastic tip leaves a shine on the paper making it difficult to get ink from a pen that works to leave ink on the shine, there is no sparkle or the ink comes out unevenly. I do get pens that have worked well in the more than $350.00 worth of any of the colors at $2.75 each that I've purchased. Those colors in the 12 pack are the ones that usually work okay. BUY CONSIDERING THE problems I've had I LOVE THESE PENS!!!! (maybe it's the outlet for my frustrations). I keep all the pens and after about 4-6 months (I'm guessing), I sometimes get a pen that works again. If frustration gets you like me I'll start banging the pen on the table but do it with the cap on. I've found once the ink leaks around the tip you are less likely to "save" the pen later. When banging in frustration hit the barrel of the pen, cap on, tip up or down, on the side of the table that sometimes gets results, I've also taken the tip off and rolled the barrel between my hands put the pen back together, again cap on then I bang the NON-tip or 'Butt' end on the table a few times then leave it flat for a few days. That sometimes gets results too. Don't store them " tip down" Put them in a drawer to lie horizontal.
It seems like a very negative review and it is but, "Sometimes the thing that seems difficult gives a measure of satisfaction that feeds the ego positively."

The colors are really gorgeous, but they don't color consistently. They're fine if you're just adding a little dot of glitter, but I tried coloring over a daisy. Glitter on one petal, no glitter on the next. Maybe it's operator error, but they sure aren't what I was expecting. I bought some glitter pens at Archiver's last weekend. They were 72 cents apiece and do a much better job.

Plus:
Easily puts glitter where you want it instead of dealing with packaged glitter. Less messy.
Colors are true to description.

Minus:
Glitter does not apply uniformly and requires going back over.

I love these pens! They're wonderfully pretty colors and sparkly too! They're high quality and long lasting and even though I bought mine nearly a year ago, they still work just fine. They're perfect for beginners as well as professionals and everybody inbetween. I really like using them for sparkle affects in my art and I honestly have 0 complaints at all about this product.

I really like these glitter pens. These pens put just the right amount of ink on the paper. I have used other pens that "dump" ink out and it makes a mess. I used some of the colors on snowmen for cards and the buttons and eyes added more texture and depth to the card. I would recommend these pens. They are also a good buy.

I expected more from a Copic set of pens --2 did not work at all , and the colors were watery and the ink thin . I have the B set , and will not be investing in any others . Almost all of the gel glitter pens that I have from other companies work better .
