About the Author
Dr. Joel Roffman is a cardiologist practicing in Richardson, Texas. He graduated from Boston University School of Medicine, and after completing his post-graduate studies in Hartford, Connecticut, he moved to Dallas, Texas where he continues to practice. Dr. Roffman is chairperson of the charitable foundation for his sixty-eight member physician group and is currently a vice president of the Dallas Jewish Historical Society. Rabbi Gordon Fuller is the congregational rabbi for Agudath Jacob in Waco, Texas. He holds degrees in Human Development from Northwestern University and in Social Work from the University of Chicago. Rabbi Fuller was ordained as a rabbi in 2004 following twenty years in Jewish educational leadership positions. He has been active in interfaith activities including serving on the Board of Caritas and the Greater Waco Interfaith Conference.
