This review is from: Coping with Cliques: A Workbook to Help Girls Deal with Gossip, Put-Downs, Bullying, and Other Mean Behavior (Instant Help /New Harbinger) (Paperback)
My mom bought this workbook for me, along with a few others. Most are wonderful in this series, but I was maybe 15 when my mom bought it for me. It's written a very cheesy, childish prospective. I couldn't deal with the topic at all. It seemed to rely a lot on self esteem which really bugged me. I guess it could help some girls but I wouldn't recommend it at all.

The book arrived in very good condition and will be used when I work with girls that are depressed, have low self esteem and when I facilitate girls social skills groups.

A bit diaappointing as I use these for adolescent girls. Some of the material can be used for groups.

Bought this for my Tweenage Daughter. She glanced through it and set it aside. Normally she dives into a new book and can not be torn away. I asked her if she thought it would be helpful. She said no and that she would not recommend it to any of her peers.
