Book Description

March 11, 2002
This book is about overcoming the obstacles that constantly occur in our lives.

Thoreau said: "Simplify, Simplify" in particular, identify all of your options and then take action. By doing this we can take overwhelming situations or cirmcumstances and reduce them to a simple decision, to be made as it occurs. This will enable us to manage, choose and adjust our paths as we see fit.

There's a little bit of everything in this book best of all, thinking that will surely help others. -- Cape Cod Times June 9, 2002

About the Author

Thomas Bayuk was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in 1984. He has managed this complication of life with extraordinary success. Two doctors at the "Lahey Clinic" in Burlington, Ma. suggested to him to write of his thoughts regarding this subject. It seems that those thoughts can and should be applied to any of the difficulties that occur in all of our lives.

I have bought many a book on multiple sclerosis. Some are clinical, some are phosophical, some are entertaining and then there is Mr. Bayuk's book. I could relate to his travails, but most importantly, he wrote about all the feelings I have
ever experienced with this disease. As you read this, you find that Tom becomes a friend by his thoughts on paper. No other book has touched me so deeply, and I find that I pick it up instinctively when I need a moment of encouragement. A gem to be treasured.......

As as multiple sclerosis sufferer, I have searched over the past five years for a book that would help me to understand how to cope with this disease. I found my salvation in this book. It truly mirrors every kind of hopeless thought and feeling I have gone through. I will be eternally grateful for Tom Bayuk's book, and treasure every word he brings to me. To know that one is not alone lessens the heavy load of this disease. Bless you, Tom.
