Barbara Moe has done a great job writing a book that is very informative for parents of children with Tourette Syndrome, yet light and entertaining enough to hold the attention of a teen or preteen that is seeking help and/or advice on how to deal with this disorder. Barbara Moe has done a great job writing a book that is very informative for parents of children with Tourette Syndrome, yet light and entertaining enough to hold the attention of a teen or preteen that is seeking help and/or advice on how to deal with this disorder. Many books that I have read on the subject simply gave the facts about TS but offered little help. This book was refreshingly different and really gave me an insight to what my twelve-year-old son deals with every day.

5.0 out of 5 stars Tourettes, plain and simple, July 13, 2008
My daughter was recently diagnosed with Tourettes Syndrome and I have been searching the internet and libraries for information. This book is actually written for teenagers and is very clear and straight forward. This book is organized in a concise way and many of my questions were answered. I was able to find this book on the Amazon marketplace easily. I recommend this book highly.
