I found the Copper Country Rail Book by George Anderson and Bob
Taylor to be both interesting and fascinating. The pictorial layout of a large collection of photographs dating from the 1880's go under that famous Chinese quote, "A Picture Is Worth 1,000 Words." Plus the photographs are well covered with informative text putting the time and place into perspective. Being a child growing up in the late 1940's with a steam Lionel Train, made the whole Copper Country Rail Book educational for me. I used to lay on the floor and watch my Lionel Train coming down the track at eye level, and some of the photographs brought back pleasant memories. I thoroughly enjoyed reading the book from cover to cover. I rate the book 5 stars.

I enjoyed the book. For anyone like myself who loves both trains and Michigan's Upper Peninisula,I'd recommend it.The history buff in me wishes that there were more written information in the book, that's the only reason I didn't rate it the full 5 stars.
