Why Do We Apply Sunscreen?
To help protect our skin from invisible ultraviolet (UV) rays from the sun, namely UVA and UVB rays.
What Does Sunscreen SPF Mean?
The SPF – or 'sun protection factor' – number on a sunscreen’s label is a guide to the product’s level of sunburn protection. In general, the SPF number indicates how much longer you can stay exposed to the sun before getting sunburned when wearing sunscreen, as opposed to without sunscreen.
For example, it takes 15 times longer to burn with sunscreen SPF 15 than without sunscreen. However, whatever the SPF number, sunscreen should be reapplied at least every 2 hours.
Tips For Buying Sunscreen
For protection against UVB and UVA rays, look for the words 'broad spectrum' on the product label. Most dermatologists recommend using a product with minimum SPF 30, which can help protect you from approximately 97% of the sun’s harmful rays. Other factors to consider may include medications, medical conditions, or special circumstances (i.e. recent surgery). The above list is not exhaustive so please consult with your dermatologist or general practitioner before going in the sun.
Apply Sunscreen Every Day, All Year Round.
– Choose a broad spectrum sunscreen with an SPF of 30 or more.
– Remember that UV rays can penetrate clouds, and that concrete, sand, water and snow reflect them back to you!
– Limit exposure to sun between 10AM and 2PM and seek shade during these peak hours.
What To Consider When Choosing The Right Sunscreen Product.
– Get help determining the sunscreen SPF protection you may need based on your skin type, location and activity.
– Don't forget to check your UV index and weather forecast!
Apply Sunscreen Generously And Often.
– Apply 15 minutes before sun exposure.
– Cover all exposed areas. Don't forget ears, nose, the tops of feet and the backs of knees!
– Use at least 30 mL (1 ounce) of sunscreen lotion to help protect an average-size body.
– Reapply sunscreen at least every two hours, and after swimming, vigorous activity, sweating or toweling.
Wear A Hat, Sunglasses and Protective Clothing.
– Wear clothing that covers as much of your skin as possible.
– Choose a wide-brimmed hat. Remember, baseball caps don't protect the ears or the vulnerable neck area!
– Make sure sunglasses are labeled to block 99–100% of UV rays. Wraparound offer the most protection.

Stain warning is in very fine print on can but should be huge as it ruined many of our shirts and bathing suits and even a facecloth that we showered with...
How could a company come out with a product that stains and wrecks your clothes??
As a sunscreen, it works great--I haven't been burned yet. But what I like best is how you apply it. It sprays on in a fine mist, and dries almost immediately to a film that's pretty much unnoticeable. It's waterproof, doesn't feel strange or greasy, and doesn't make my skin break out. But most of all, it's fast! You can be about to go out the door, grab the can and go *spray* *spray* *Spraaay!* "Okay, I'm ready now!"
I have only one minor complaint--I wish it were unscented. I don't mind it, but I'm sure that some people don't want to go around smelling like flowers.
Overall, I really like this product! If you usually can't be bothered to wear sunscreen, try it out.
This is very easy to apply, don't forget to rub it in. This did not hold up to the water at all! This may work fine if you don't even think about going swimming. I purposely bought this to keep our skin protected while swimming.
It offers broad spectrum UVA/UVB protection and its active ingrediants are Avobenzone, Octisalate and Oxybenzone. Good, effective, standard ingredients found in most high-quality sunscreens--but without the white, greasy goop(!!)
Still a bit too moist and drippy to be used on the face--for that I recommend Neutrogena's Ultra Sheer SPF 55 Dry-Touch Sunblock. I still haven't found a product to beat it for dryness and effectiveness. But this product is great for all the other parts of your body that you expose to the sun on a daily basis. Also, the high SPF is a godsend with the now super-strong sun. I can't think of too many clear spray-ons that have an SPF rating of 50+.
My only complaint is that it has that strong, perfumey Coppertone smell. Oh, how I wish these products came unscented--but unfortunately most don't... As for the Continuous-Spray feature: when you spray from the can, it streams out wet like hairspray. The best way to use this is to cup your hand over the spray nozzle and spray it directly into your palm and then onto your skin.
Otherwise, I am completely satisfied with this product.
NOTE: Even though this SPF 15 version says PACK OF 3, it is a PACK OF 1 (ONE) (Singular) aka. NOT THREE
