Cops, Donuts and murder, February 15, 2007
This review is from: Cops, Donuts, and Murder (Paperback)
This is the best mystery book I've read for quite sometime. It is filled with twists and interesting characters. The ending was a total surprise. The book is written using dialog and it is so true-to-life that I couldn't put it down.

Outstanding book! Although George Galjan, is new to the literary scene, his book reads as smmothly as those of veteran writers! Edge of your seat mystery that leaves you guessing unitl the end....

Tightly written detective story, June 7, 2007
This review is from: Cops, Donuts, and Murder (Paperback)
Galjan's many years in law enforcement (he retired as a lieutenant with nearly 30 years of service)enabled him to produce realistic (albeit not always "politically correct") dialogue and true-to-life situations in this tightly written detective story. He also draws on his Navy experience (two tours in Vietnam) to provide a great background story for the protagonist -- a Cleveland police lieutenant (could the story be, at least partially, autobiographical?).
Again, a very tightly and well written detective yarn -- I truly found it a book hard to put down. I recommend it.
