Although the "snippet" you hear on Amazon doesn't really give you much, Copy Editor's Lament is rockin tune and a very clever ditty about what's happening in the newspaper (and other) industries, as well as in society itself. As someone who is familiar with Christopher's other tunes, I'm also looking for the CD as well! Smart original music with a message that doesn't take itself too seriously..

Christopher Ave's "Copy Editor's Lament" is an inspired and witty response to widespread layoffs in newspapers and the decline of journalism (and quality control) in general. If I were evaluating this on American Bandstand, I'd add that it's also got a good beat and you can dance to it. I'm old-fashioned, so I'd like to see an entire CD of Christopher Ave's music, but I'll take "Copy Editor's Lament" for now.
