Extremely Helpful.
I used this book as a supplement to study for my copyright law final. The author did a really good job of combining the statutes, policy, and relevant cases. She covered almost everything we covered in class and gave me a good understanding of the relevant tests. It included the most recent dramatic changes in case law. Not good as a study aid
The organization is confusing and the book is far too brief an overview to be of any assistance. Moreover, the book spends a lot of time on fairly obscure statutory exceptions to general copyright law rather than providing a good overview of the basics - which is far more important on tests. The coverage of fair use is woefully inadequate. Examples & Explanations is much...

This is a much better little textbook on copyright law. It is compact and you still have to do some wading through wordiness.
