I purchased this book thinking that the technique would be too hard and meticulous to follow; that just TRYING a project would have me end up in a pile/knot of thread and beads; but, that I would get some great ideas from it and it would be a nice addition to my library.
The illustrations are WONDERFUL and CLEAR and CONCISE, printed large, and just a pleasure. The written instructions are just as easy to work with.
What is GREAT about this book, is that with just a bit of concentration and some effort, you can make a piece of jewelry that looks brilliant!
This is not a joke... rarely do I get compliments on my jewelry. (Boy, that's hard to admit!) However, when I wear one of my coral necklaces and/or bracelets and/or earrings, complete strangers ask where I purchased it/them and just how striking the piece is! Maybe this is my niche! Buy this book; I truly don't think you'll be disappointed.

I have been beading for several years now and have accumulated a large variety of pattern books. I must say that this is one of the best I've seen. The patterns work up just beautifully and the instructions are very clear and easy to follow. I believe this is a great book for all beaders, beginning to advanced!

This is a small book -- no doubt about it. But it also is very interesting. I had never heard of the coraling technique, but once you see the pictures, it's obvious how it got the name.

The sample projects are lovely -- I can't wait to make a few of them up. I wasn't really sure what to expect initially, but I was pleasantly surprised. I have a ton of beading/beadwork books, so I am picky about what I like -- and I liked this one.

If you like great big beading books with lots and lots of projects, this doesn't quite fit into that category. But if you are always looking for new ideas, this is right up your alley.

This book presents a wonderful use for seed beads. Presently, highly decorated and formed beads are the rage and the poor little seed beeds get ignored for their finer Japanese siblings, Delicas. But here is a wonderful set of designs for those humble little beads that work up into an impressive statement of designs, based in traditional Russian style, updated for a new century. Ms. Konstantinov represents the best of modern Russian wearable art designs or American, for that matter...Any level beader can follow her great diagrams and clear description. Finally, a book on beading with a Russian flavor written in English. I can't wait for her next one. This is fun and different work. Traditional and modern at the same time. I have already planned out several projects and I just got the book yesterday.

The beading community has anxiously been waiting for Varvara's book. Well she certainly didnt let us down with Coraling Technique. Varvara has given us a taste of a Russia with the coraling stitch, a favorite of her homeland.
Coraling Technique is easy for a beginning beader, with precise step by step written and photo instructions. Yet challenging enough for the most advanced beader. the only thing holding you back is your imagination. It is 44 pages with 10 beautiful patterns from necklaces to earrings.
Caroling Technique is Varvara at her best. Coraling technique is sure to become a favorite, and must have for every beaders library. Now the only thing to remain is, when can we look forward to another beading book from Varvara one of our favorite designers.

Varvara is an artist who has produced striking works of art using beads. The price of this book really represents the worth of her art. I have made 4 of these necklaces and sold them all. Varvara was always there to answer questions re: patterns and instructions.

Yes, the book price is high, but it is worth it.

The author's instructions are very clear. Her pictures were wonderful! There is a lot of room for creativity with the coraling technique. I am very happy with the book and would recommend it to my fellow beaders.

This book has beautiful designs with wonderful close up pictures. Diagrams are very clear and easy to follow, as are the written instructions. This is a very simple technique, and it is amazing to see all the variations. Once you try these designs you will have many ideas for you own variations. The difficult part is deciding which gorgeous piece to make first!

The pieces in ths book are gorgeous and frothy, but not anything I'm likely to wear. Her 'Coraling Technique' is really just branch fringing taken to extremes; quite beautiful extremes.

It's a nice book (45 pages) to have in my beading library but I wish I'd spent my money on something more diverse.

I have loved the coraling technique since I started with it a few months back. I was so excited to have found this book and couldn't wait to order it. In fact, I have now ordered her other books.

The book is beautiful with very clear instructions and wonderful ideas. Varvara is such a great artist.
