After Carlos Vives, Shakira and Juanes, this artist might be the next Colombian Artist to bring up those Latin Rythms here to the States. This artist has great songs in this album such as Magangue, Hace Tiempo or Te Mando Flores, between others that make this album a must have to those who enjoy the South American roots. Listen to it and let it make your day. This Colombian singer and songwriter Fonseca evokes Carlos Vives in his fusion of pop with traditional Colombian vallenato and cumbia. But Fonseca boasts a sound all his own, grounded in a fine, compelling voice and some very catchy fare. "Corazón," Fonseca's sophomore album and his first to be released in the United States, features the single "Te Mando Flores," a soulful yet danceable track that spent 22 weeks at No. 1 on Colombia's radio charts and is rising here. Fonseca is not merely about vallento/cumbia fusions. He incorporates world music (the African-tinged "Corazón"), lounge ("Sigo Aquí Cantando") and trance on the classic "Idilio," one of the best covers in a long time.

i love this cd! its great music and there aren't a lot of artists that play this type of music. next to carlos vives, this guy is the only one who plays vallenato. i love it!!!!

I listen to this CD from beginning to end and then start it all over again. He is an amazing artist and I am eager for more CDs and I'm eagerly awaiting a U.S. concert tour.
