Melina León's fourth album (and her third for Sony Discos), titled Corazón de Mujer, is a album that is not only made great, but has songs that are catchy and you can't get enough of them. The title song is offered in three versions (Merengue, Pop, and Dance), and they all give a different aspect to a great song overall. Her other songs are just as great, including "Otra Vez' (in merengue and ballad version), "Por Un Muchacho", "Un Hombre De Verdad" (merengue and pop/ballad version), and a song written by Melina herself, "Ya No Quiero Nada" which seems to blend merengue, ballad, and pop into a cornicopia of a great song with great lyrics. With albums like this, and her previous "Baño de Luna", Melina has proven she can move beyond the "merenguera" title and into a bigger market, and I must congratulate her. Her voice is amazingly powerful, and she sings great in all aspects: merengue, pop, and ballad. I hope her next work is just as well done!

this is her best work yet in corazon the mujer melina leon show her versality as a singer , que sera de ti ? otra vez , corazon de mujer the title track are my favorites on this proyect but all the songs are great the diferent music styles she recorded here lets you see once and for all that melina leon is bound for greatness if you havent discover her yet sit back and enjoy her music its not only great for dancing but the lyrics are so beautiful and meaninful that they are suited for the daily lisening also , i predict the year 2002 it will be her year

her voice keeps getting better and better and in this proyect she proves her versality as a singer , corazon de mujer is without a doubth her best work yet , que sera de ti ? otra vez , corazon de mujer are my fav songs in this cd but i have to admit the compleate collections of songs in this cd is just amazing and she deserve whats comming to her . i predict that the year 2002 will be the year for melina leon . shes bound for mayor sucess

-Corazon De Mujer- es uno de los mejores CD de Melina Leon. Es bien diferente a los discos anteriores, pero igualmente bueno. -Un Hombre De Verdad- y -Otra Vez- son mis temas favoritos. Este CD contiene algunas baladas (muy buenas) pero sobre todo mucho merengue. Si te gusta este CD te gustara el CD titulado -Jessica Cristina- de la merenguera Jessica Cristina.

Melina Leon y Jessica Cristina son mis merengueras favoritas, y claro la reina Milly Quezada.

You won't be dissapointed with this album like recent buyers and reviewers of Olga Tanon's and Gisselle's latest albums which were teased as being merengue and it is mostly pop. Melina starts the album off with the title track in merengue. Its style is too much like "Bano De Luna" but it's still good. The other merengue songs are nice and the other songs are ok. The best out of the three. Olga better make more and better merengue songs if she wants to stay queen of merengue. Melina might take over and this is proof, specially after these releases are close together.

Aunque Melina, aun no es conocida , aqui en mi pais, Argentina, quiero decirles a todos que es una cantante excepcional y que me encanta, Su voz, la forma de interpretacion, las baladas, las melodias. En fin, me gusta su musica...

Melina Leon is truly proving herself not only as an exellent "merenguera" but also as a singer in general. In this album she tries to continue the success of her previous smash single "Cuando una Mujer" with four very beautiful ballads which showcase her sensual voice. The rest of the album relies on some quite inventive merengue beats. The first single "Corazon de Mujer (merengue) is just as danceable as it is romantic. You'll love the song with just a first listen. Other standout tracks on the album are "Por un Muchacho", "Otra Vez", "Ya No Quiero Nada", "Quisiera Amarte", and "Quedate Con El". The thing that I like most about the merengue songs is that they are very dancy and that other elements are incorporated into the beats to make the rhythms unique but good at the same time. Congratulations to Melina Leon. She has made an exellent album.
