I purchased the clipper expecting to save time and money take caring my dogs by myself, but unfortunately they have a very complicated coat (after winter) that need previously gets the hair knots out and accurate brushing, which is very time demanding. According to instructions, you have to cut the tangles with scissors and shamppooing the dog, use the electric hair dryer and brush before use the clipper, so pets hair dressing with my new clipper is not that simple as I thought, at least with my dogs breed (cocker with poodle). My very first impression is that the machine is not as powerful as I expected and I think it was designed more to humans or cats than to certain kind of long-curly-hair pets. The silent operation is a definitive advantage, but the mechanism that drives the blade and the blade itself seem weak. We shall see how long it will last or finally return to a pet beauty parlor and pay for the service.

this pet clipper is the BOMB!!! it performed like a real PRO - my dogs reaction to it was unbelievable!!! it was my very first time to cut/shave their hair and i couldn't believe how easy it turnedout to be!!! this unit is sooooo light and quite easy to handle. thanks amazon - this product is simply AWESOME!!!!!!!!
