Too loud,
By A Customer
This review is from: GE Corded BedroomPhone(TM) with Dual Alarms and Radio (29295GE2) (Electronics)
Minimum volume for the radio on the phone is too loud. If you set the alarm radio to wake you, it will wake the entire street block. No way to lower volume. Too bad for an otherwise good product.

Caller ID screen too small,
By A Customer
This review is from: GE Corded BedroomPhone(TM) with Dual Alarms and Radio (29295GE2) (Electronics)
Besides not being able to control the volume -- if you wear glasses or have "aging" eyes -- it is very difficult to read the caller ID box -- it is too small

Award for WORST DESIGNED product,
By Gadget Guy "Ron" (Toronto) - See all my reviews

Buyer Beware!! This alarm clock\radio\phone is THE worst designed electronic product ever. It's impossible at all levels....programming, efficiency, etc. for example, it's got a phone receiver that's IMPOSSIBLE to grasp...and that 's only one of it's shortcomings. I bought it because it was inexpensive and included all of the features I was looking for. However, all those wonderful features and low price are ultimately worthless because of poor, poor design.

Good Combo,

Good combination of products. Radio, Alarm Clock, Call-Id Telephone. Hum. Are people getting to picky and choosy. I like to be waken up (heavy sleeper) instead of missing the flight or the meeting.
This is a good product overall and excellent price-value.

BE CAREFUL,

This radio wakes you up at a loud sound regardless of how you set it. If you have it set at a low volume level, it'll wake you and the entire neighborhood at your wake-up time. I just bought it but I'm throwing it out.

Phone works great but..,

it's impossible to use the speed dial mode that won't program numbers and you can't manually set the time. Since 8 out of 10 phones I've bought had static for reception, the really good phone is a big plus to ME.

GE Dual Alarm Clock RAdio,
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: GE Corded BedroomPhone(TM) with Dual Alarms and Radio (29295GE2) (Electronics)
After reviewing a complaint that I had on the original purchase the vendor took care of the problem by exchanging the item and the GE Clock Radio with Dual Alarms and Telephone is fine. The nice part of this product is when you set it up and dial your phone number to test the ringer the correct time adjusts on the clock radio display.
The sound on the radio is pretty good. |
