This book is fantastic for anyone wishing to learn the composition and importance of mother's milk, anatomy, pathology, physiology - basically in depth literature surrounding breastfeeding.
Very easy to read and understand!

This book is good. Very informative... but can be quite "dry" reading. I bought it to use for review for the IBCLC exam. While it's good it's not my favorite. I like Jan Riordan's book better because of her writing style.

Once you have some basics under your belt, this book is the next step. This book covers all of the material you already know while also checking your information for any holes. Simply reading this book through will give you an excellent foundation to work from - and that is a manageable task given how well it is written. |
