1.0 out of 5 stars Not recommended due to erroneous content., July 28, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Core MCSE (Hardcover)
I thought this book was a bargain, since it covers the 4 MCSE core tests. However, while using it to study for the Server test, I found glaring errors not only in the sample questions but in the text also. After finding mistaken information about several key concepts, I no longer trust using this book to study for my tests. An MCSE/MCT associate of mine confirmed the mistakes and found many others. This book is worth avoiding.

2.0 out of 5 stars Riddled with errors, September 21, 1999

It is a clear and concise guide to the tests.

I am always amazed at publishing companies that are so ravenous for money that they would allow a study guide to be released with so many errors. My advice, if you venture to buy the book, is to SKIP the questions at the end of each chapters. You can't trust the answers in the back of the book.

3.0 out of 5 stars Too many errors for me. Can't rely on it., August 12, 1999

This review is from: Core MCSE (Hardcover)
Hoping to get a jump start on my NT career path I purchased this book as a study guide. It's not all bad but a study guide should correctly answer its' own questions! After using this book for 2 months I unfortunately found more than a few errors. I'm just glad I didn't attempt a cert. test.
