Marketing has changed and if your business is relying on traditional marketing methods, you won't be able to compete. I knew this before I read about Core Marketing in a newsletter I get, but now I know what to do about it. Fortunately, the solutions are simpler and less expensive than I hoped. I learned a lot from this book, including details about online marketing of my local business, but there are a lot of philosophies and perspectives with profound implications.

I wouldn't say that this was the only marketing book you need, but if you want an easy-to-read and very helpful guide to the new world of marketing, this is a good one.

I was going to loan my copy to my business partner, but I just ordered him his own copy instead. I'm keeping mine.

I have owned several small businesses and am always looking for new techniques of marketing. This book is one of the best I have read because it really tells you what actions to take instead of just hinting at strategies or theories. I majored in marketing in college and learned more action steps in this book than I did in four years of classes.
After rating my marketing program with the Core Score I realized my marketing strategies were not effective in today's market. So I am in the process of improving my Core Score step by step by using the information in the book. I've set up a review system and a facebook business page and registered the businesses. So already I feel like I have made a big improvement and will continue to follow additional advice that Mr. Bodley has set out in this book.

At first I thought, "oh no, this isn't going to be one of those antiquated marketing books but re-worded a new way...and thank God it wasn't!" It was totally worth the $17 bucks because it teaches you modern day, 2012 and beyond marketing tips that really work...IF YOU APPLY THEM AND TAKE THE TIME TO DO IT CORRECTLY! And so I did. Great job Core Marketing! Thanks for the tips about how to get picked up and put at the top of the top search engines and especially for educating me on how much it costs to bring in JUST ONE NEW CLIENT and then how to 2nd sell, 3rd sell, infinity sell that client other products/services over and over! Anyone that is going to make it today, must FIRST learn this! Sorry to ramble on and on, again THANKS!
